Accessibility

Disabled patrons may be dropped off on the circle drive (east Information on accessibility can be found below. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Soldier Field provides a safe and enjoyable event experience for all patrons. If there are ways in which we may improve our services, we encourage you to contact us. Below you will find information about ADA accommodations for parking, seating, wheelchairs and other areas of interest.

Listen Technologies LT800-216 Transmitter on Channel 2D with LR400-216 Receivers with single earbud. There are 4 transmitters total in the stadium: one for the main seating bowl, one in the press box and one in each interview room.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Area

During events, Soldier Field’s ADA drop-off and pick-up area is located at the Gate 14 turnaround area. Gate 14 is located off of Museum Campus Drive on the southeast side of the stadium (lakeside). An ADA placard or ADA license plate is required for access, and the person to whom the placard or license plate is registered must be an occupant of the vehicle in order to access the drop-off area.

Elevators

Accessible (ADA) elevators are available throughout the venue and fans and all of the elevators inside the stadium are ADA Accessible. One elevator is located in the southeast corner of the South Courtyard (inside Gate 6) providing service from the Grand Concourse to the Mezzanine Level. A second elevator is located in the Southwest corner of the stadium on the Mezzanine Level behind Section 128 providing access from the Mezzanine level to the Media Deck and the West Grandstand. Additionally, we have an elevator in The Miller Lite Midway providing access from the 100 Mezzanine Level to the inside of Club space. The elevator that is used to access the Miller Lite Midway is behind section 138.

Accessible Parking

Parking for guests is available in each garage with wheelchair accessible ramps. ADA spaces vary per event. To gain access to accessible parking, a ADA placard or license plate is required to park in the Museum Campus parking lot ADA spaces. The person to whom the license plate or placard is registered must be an occupant in the vehicle. Standard Parking will have a limited number of courtesy carts available for transport of the disabled guest to and from the Museum Campus parking lots. Only the disabled guest and one companion will be permitted on the carts.

Wheelchairs

Soldier Field provides wheelchair ushering service to patrons inside the stadium and a portion of the exterior campus. Wheelchair escorts are available for transporting guests with disabilities to their seating locations. Wheelchair escorts are staged around the stadium to assist guests. If a wheelchair escort is not immediately available, please ask a uniformed staff member for assistance. Guests needing to exchange tickets for wheelchair accessible seating may come to the stadium and visit Guest Services inside Gate 0 to do so.

Service Animals

Animals are not permitted at Soldier Field, except for service animals or service animals in training that accompany individuals with disabilities.  The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines ‘service animals’ as ‘dogs (or in some cases, miniature horses) that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.’  Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and, therefore, are not permitted. Gate 8 is the designated gate for service animals to enter and exit the stadium.  Gate 8 also serves as the exit and re-entry gate should a Service Animal need a relief area.
